Probably a dumb question, but will lower face protection be required?

You know the larger the mag size, the more you see when you miss lol.
Unless its a support weapon then its fine, then you can spray the field and just say you were laying down cover fire lol.

Dave I'm also with Rising Power like usual. I'll have to pay at the gate though. Am I still able to be slotted with them?

AAR
16 of us rolled in from Houston. Some vets from the 2013 REFORGER and more new guys to the field. A little late start, safety & rules and swags/prizes was done from the start. NATO had more head count so the offset was Russians had 3 vehicle vs NATO's 1. Russian had wind to their backs so NATO had a hard time w/ sending BBs to the Russians.
1st game was to take each other flag to take out the respawn points except for the main camp which was not to be attacked. The confusion was once the flag was under attacked it was still being used for respan?? It wasn't clear to some that you had to fall back to the next flag for respawn; which is fair.
2nd games, I thought it was a repeat of the 1st but we also had orders to look for the down plane, not sure what happened as my hand was full repelling the constant attacks from the Russians. Apparently it wasn't to attack flags, just a force on force I found out later.
Night game, so tired already but I still wanted to do it, my team/guys wanted to do it. It was fun and it was scary. Kudos to the green guys know knows how to shoot in the dark.
There was confusion all day. Mobile was to stay on the road, didn't seem like that sometimes. Mines set kills both ways vs if you set them then you can go though them? Then there was issues w/ air strikes and something... Then uniforms wasn't observed/enforced, that was somehow part of the game play which NATO did not like at all, can't speak for the Russians on that though. There where several issues of confusion that reset was called like 3x. Yeah, didn't run so smooth which I didn't expect. So that was lacking in a solid OP.
REGARDLESS we still had fun, maybe it was the field and great memories of the place and how much fun we always had. The Russians relentless deployments of attacks on our position and every inch of the field kept me so busy. There was no down time, BBs where running out, batteries where dying if not the primary. I really liked the mobile on the field and being able to use rockets, added another dimension to milsim.
It was good to see guys/ and gals form different part of Texas coming out to play and have fun, nice to get away form the home field. NATO guys, great game, you guys know how to work with each other to get the job done. Someone needed help patching up a spot here and there to defend off the Russians quick strikes was a life saver. Communication and team work it key. Russians, solid opforce - really enjoyed the good fight, it wasn't a walk in the park. I was so tied up at the wood pile defending the fag, retaking the flag, defending the flag back and forth.
So I'll be back again for other games, just don't drop the ball.

thanks demon, I agree 100% with your AAR... some issues were people calling airstrikes on friendlies, if someone calls airstrikes on friendlies I have little choice but to execute the mission....
people after being told to stay on the roads were found to be off road 2-3 times that we saw... after killing them that issue was fixed, next year OC drivers.
the game was reset twice, once after lunch (nato won the first part) and for a safety violation from nato around 15:45.
the game started about 10-15 min late so we ran the first battle 15 min into the lunch break pushing the entire battle back so everyone got the posted amount of trigger time.
much confusion was from people skipping the mandatory commanders briefing, of forgetting it.. everything was laid out in the AM for the commanders to pass out....
3 commanders arrived late
the soviet commander left to go to work early so that confused the hell out of everyone...
so im thinking of having a fixed HQ that HAS to be manned next year and tune up the OCs a little to handle the few players that go astray.
also we had a kid walk off the field and his brother freaked out that he was hurt on the field.... he was chilling in the store... we quickly got a search team together and had planned for a issue, even if it was unneeded.
the night game was the largest held so far with over 60 people for more than 2 hrs of trigger time with people limping off the field, not being injured but from exhaustion..
in the end, no fights, no injured, everyone got free stuff, everyone got food, and overall I give it a thumbs up. thanks all
SWAG given, nearly 3000.00 of stuff (10 AEGs, 170 + patches, etc.....) food 150 hotdogs, 100 hamburgers, 200+ bottles of water, 200 sodas, 2 gal of chili, and more....

This was my third time at Reforger and be brought six Midlothian AirSoft Club (MASC) people with us, where we were joined by LEO's Diehard and Sorenson, as well as Roman and master criminal Fox. Definitely a great event that keeps improving each year and, unlike other recent "ops", there was plenty of swag, a patch and even free food and drink. More organizers need to step up their ops to this level of customer service.
Shouts out to LT and Pockets for keeping their cool and dealing professionally with the insane Ukrainians while under fire. You both, as well as your teams, always do an outstanding job of dealing with whatever is thrown your way.
