This is a long post but this is stuff that needs to be read before attending the game. These are the rules that are specific to this event.
Task Force Sparrow Operation Operation Bad Omen Temple Airsoft October 12 $30 Game start: 1000 Game index: 1800
Uniforms: Republic of Texas (ROT): Multicam, ACU, Desert marpat, DCU (Tan based uniform) New Chinese Regime (NCR): Woodland, OD, Woodland marpat, ATacs (Green based uniform) Armed Civilians: Civilian attire (Full kit is optional) *Civilians will be required to role play in certain scenarios. They will also be given special missions and intel.
MAGAZINE RESTRICTIONSs: Midcaps or a total of 3 hicaps
MISSIONS: Missions for this game are different than what is normally done at the field. Each team will be pitted against each other in a full day objective of territory control. Each team will fight over designated positions and be scored throughout the day based on which points they control. Similar to Op Reforger or the Risk series. On top of this each squad on both teams will be called for FRAGOS throught the day in which each individual squad will be given in depth missions to complete within certain time frames. The reason for this is so that everyone has something to fight for all day (Territory locations) and it doesn't just tur into a glorified team deathmatch as well as players get a chance to test their skills as a squad during in depth objectives.
FRAGO TIMES: *You need to be at your designated HQ for mission briefings on time. If your squad is late the mission will be scratched and considered a failure.
Republic of Texas: • Squad 1 - 1030 • Squad 2 - 1400 • Joint operation - 1630
New Chinese Regime: • Squad 1 - 1145 • Squad 2 - 1515 • Joint operation - 1645
SPAWN RULES: Each player must be able to carry personal medic bandages somewhere on there person at all times. Medical bandages will be supplied by us. If a player is hit another player of their team must get a medical bandage from the hit player and tie it to the players arm. Once hit a second time a bandage must be applied to the other arm. If hit a third time that player will then return to a designated spawn location, remove the bandages from their arms and place them back into the original pouch, pocket, etc. and then may return to battle. Players will have a bleed out time of one minute. If a player is hit and does not receive medical attention in the allotted one minute, they must return to respawn. There will be 2 respawn points for each team.
ROLE PLAYERS: At certain times during the day civilian soldiers as well as role playing admins will fill specific role playing positions during missions. They will be signified with safety vests. They can be shot if they are armed. They may also shoot back. If they are not armed they should not be fired upon.
VEHICLE RULES: Vehicles are allowed if they are cleared with staff before hand. Some vehicles will also be in play during missions. Vehicles may be used in time slots of 15 minutes each 3 times during the event. To use your vehicle you must radio an admin requesting to use one of your vehicles permitted gun runs. You will then be given permission to use the vehicle for 15 minutes and one of your three gun runs will be gone, so on and so fourth. Vehicles can only be taken out by nerf rockets or similar projectiles. Gun men in the backs of vehicles may shoot out and can be shot back. Standard medic rules apply for those in the backs of vehicles. If a vehicle is destroyed it must return to the respawn location and will be cleared to finish out the 15 minute run. If a vehicles emergency lights are on it is NOT in play. Players inside of the vehicle may not shoot out. Windows must be rolled up at all times.
OFFICIAL WARNING: I'll get this out of the way early. We do not design our ops to play out as a bunch of non-stop action with very little role play. We design every scenario to have an in depth story, challenging objectives, and good role play, all while maintaining the action everyone wants. That being said we make it our goal to challenge every player on the field physically and mentally. We had issues with players dropping out and even quitting on objectives mid mission due to being to tired. Nothing against the individuals that did that but this is a heads up that we didn't issue before Operation Stateside like we should have. You need to come prepared. This will not be just some other skirmish day. This will be a full day op where each squad and individual player will be challenged to complete various missions throughout the day. Some people will come unprepared physically and will fall off throughout the day. Some may come fully prepared and make it through easily. There will also be a group that doubts they can continue and will question quitting. I ask for every player to give their best efforts. I have walked off the field from ops due to physical exhaustion and I can gaurantee you'll regret it. If you hit that wall and want to quit I challenge you to push past it and overcome the obstacles before you.

First of all for those who came out today thank you. I hope every had fun despite the fact that there were over 40 players that signed up that didnt show. Second, thank you Temple Airsoft for allowing us to use the field. I know everyone always enjoys the AO. Thank you High Ground Airsoft for sponsoring the event and giving away awesome prizes. Lastly, I want to apologize to those who feel it may not have been worth the trip. The majority of the players today drove atleast 2 hours or more. Everyone knows issues arose due to the small amount of players today. I tried my best to address the issues that I could solve and I didnt succeed on some of those things. I'm in this to put together quality events for players and as the person that put this event together and hosted it I feel that dropped the ball.
