It seems to me that this is ever so funny, every comment that I post to LSA about the Kookaburra Field gets "removed" by 'admin' in order to maintain a professional appearance on their forums. My posts weren't even up for 6 hours before they disappeared.

No, Those people are in Austin. Temple is fun lovin', easy going, airsoft playing group of good friends that hang out on weekends. Dave OC-6 is the mellowest, friendliest, politically correctest, field/shop owner alive.

I agree, Dave is a pretty cool guy. There was a guy this weekend who had a lot of... "passion" for the game and I think it got the best of him. Other than that, field looked great and had a lot of fun.

please i have talked to everyone involved.
it is over and please lets move on, i had a talk with everyone on both sides and its over.

the things that we are dealing with a little at the field don't start here but i have to deal with them.

1. head shots, legal deal with it. if the only thing that you show is the face then don't be surprised that thats where you get hit. solution, i have a bunch of full face masks for sale or loaners. they work great and if your style of play keeps getting you smacked in the head then you can use the ones i have. and yes i know it hurts.

2. people who target the face. this is from 4 people that have told me that another field people keep shrugging off there hits so when they come here it is common to put a whole mag into someones head to make sure that they take the hit. i have had talks off line with all the players and most have adjusted they're play resulting in better play for them and more realistic combat (3-5 round burst, not 20-30.

3. shooting people after they are hit, just to make sure. again when asking why they do it..... its how we play at the "other field". why? if someone looks at you and starts to put there hand up why shoot again? don't do it please.

4. too much gear on. if i come to you and ask if you are feeling your hits i am hinting at something. you may want to check if you have too much gear and see if you can slim down or pay more attention to weather you are getting hit, chances are that you missed taking a hit and i have gotten some complaints about you. this last weekend one player by himself ditched his big vest and found out that he had been hit shrugging for half the day without knowing it. not his fault.

5. arguments. thats my place, you are hot, sweaty, big and ugly, small and crazy, you have the blood pumping, you don't see everything. guess what? its the field OCs job to step in and take care of it. have a issue with a player? take your hit or take a break and come find me. i will take care of it. its my job not yours. I'm not on any team and i see more than you do. i have no problem telling my closest friend he is wrong or asking a player that is dangerous to sit out a game and settle down.

6. dead rags, if you have them i will ask that you check around you and make sure other players are not having them hanging out of your pocket or around your neck. please have them tucked 100% away. from now on if i see them, any of them you will be "hit" by me. if i see it a 2nd time then you will be set out of the game. so team mates please keep an eye on each other.

7. this is not the other field, we are here to have fun. lets let the drama stay at the other field, we have are own standards and i intend to keep and enforce them.

if you have ever seen the PVC tubes with slings on them around the field you will see they are rounds for the mortar and guns.

They are the community's rules, not 'my' rules. Furthermore, I help run the site. I don't own the site and never have. The rules have in place for years upon years, and they have worked well such that MORE people have given compliments to the site than those that have complained.

You were not banned for grammar. You were banned because you spammed the forums and could not follow basic rules. You were given plenty of chances and reminders, but continued to flaunt that you weren't going to or trying to follow the rules.

Don't blame others or talk junk about others for your deeds. You brought the ban on yourself, not the other way around. It is absolutely ridiculous to lay blame on LSA when you were offered help, offered your own subforum to post whatever you want, etc.

Learn and understand facts and how things work before trying to start unnecessary drama and talk junk about others.

heinous, posts are not deleted from LSA unless they are spam or pornographic; even posts with profanity are only edited to meet the forum rules to avoid profanity. What is your username? It is more likely that you might not have the proper user permissions to post. If you never verified your account through the validation link email, then ability to post is restricted to certain forums if I recall correctly.

You are welcome here if you follow the rules, as of right now you are only trying to stir up problems. I think it is silly that you want to post on the forum of someone that you banned. If someone I trust says that info about the field was posted and pulled down I trust them. This community has had to put up with a lot of junk that you know of and probably a lot of stuff that has been said and done in lsa,s name you dont. I have tried to reach out to you many times only to be rebuffed. As you told me in your pm today you have seen pictures of the field and there is not much here, in your opinion.

There is a lot of bs being thrown around, and trust me I hear just as much bs about you as you hear about me, the difference is i guess you listen to it without accepting the many invitations I have sent you so you can see that we can back up what we have been saying.

Again, you were banned for spamming. There is no selling it any other way. It is a black and white rule that you broke continuously. That was your choice to continually ignore the rules. You pretend you know something about community, but you certainly aren't acting like it, have not participated in it other than your field, and certainly haven't built it compared to others who have been doing it locally and at the state level for years.
At least the players up in that area finally have a consistent field to play at, so there is the silver lining which you can't deny that we've stated MANY times even if you want to assess blame for everything else you perceive that you don't like.
