Looking for a drop in gearbox v2 or v3 for an M4. want it with a spring set up for 350 fps or more.

M4 gearboxes should always be V2.
Anyways, what happened to your current gearbox, if you had one?

Shadow hawk has V3s, and they're set up for an AK. Not compatible.

Its a little weak. Probably needs a new piston. Compression seems low. I'd rather go with the whole set up minus the motor so take apart is minimized.

One of my great boxes fit in an m4 body but it has weird wiring for a large type battery.

I have a regular 9.6v batt. Do you have extra wiring for regular batts.?

I've got an extra adapter (small battery, large gearbox) if you need one.
I'd love to trade it for the entire gearbox you don't want, but I understand that would be stupid.
And isn't that still a V3 gearbox? Or do you have a V2 shadowhawk?

What do you want for the gearbox plus batt adapter? Do you know how many fps? other info?

Well shadow, I was asking if you had a V2 that you were selling. A V3 will flat out not work in an M4 without heavy modification.

I was talking to headshot. Haha this is confusing. Idk a lot about gearboxes but I know it fit in an m4 body. It looks kinda like the ak gearboxes but its a little bit different than the others

AK gearboxes are V3. M4 are V2 always. I have pulled out my V2 gearbox from my G3 to swap out parts to my M4 gearbox. Now it's only missing the anti reversal latch. Everything else is complete. I got very efficient at rebuilding gearboxes and rewiring them. Thanks to my past experience of being an avid RC racer.Anyways, I've installed a mosfet in my Scar-L running 11.1v lipo. All you may need is a spring swap and a new o-ring around your piston. If you're interested, let me know via messenger.

I had help tonite and replaced the spring guide(the old one had a broken flange) and a new 125 spring but it chronoed 60 fps slower! I think the piston o rings are worn and air is getting around it thus dropping compression. What do you wnat for your gearbox and do you know what spring it has? |

I don't know what spring it has but I can check probably the stock ics spring and for what I want I don't know what could you trade for it( did you want the upper receiver and bottom or just upper

Yes exactly like yours here what I'll do is give you the gun but all you need to do is put your hopup in it and then it's ready to go or you can just take the v2
