Dave. How cheap can you get a tanaka m870? I can't find it for less than $300-$400. Thanks

That is the normal price for those. IF you can find them, stuff like that doesn't usually come to states unless imported, then there is the customs inspections. So even after you can find one in stock, paying a lot for it, you still might not get it. Anything tanaka will be over 300 new

Didn't Tanaka also make those M40s that could shoot real steel rounds?
Anyways, what Poo said is correct.
I didn't even know they still made Tanakas... They're up there in the hard to finds alongside Escort and Inokatsu.

Tanaka's are still made, just not readily availbile. For something like that isn't really practical for skirmish, cool factor yes.

www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=29198 i found this today. i think this is what im gonna go with. its a little pricy but it gives you the ability to change what weight of bb your using in the middle of a fight without having to remove the magazine

there is no magazine for that, it's tube fed ie; put 50 rounds in a tube and it feeds that way. It feeds 5 at a time. So unless you put different weight bb's in randomly then there is no way of actually changing the bb's unless you take them all out first. Think you should just research it better.

If I put a different weight in each tune, I can rotate the tubes at any time

What purpose does it hold?

Be advised: Those Marushin clones have a tendency to leak a lot of gas.

i can change the weight of the bb based on how close i am to the target

Agreed, unless you have a physical issue racking the slide, the springer tri shots are great for the CQB/Night games! Alot of fun too! Mine has served me well in Grozny @ FAA, Aftermath, and the night games @ KHF. Check out the ones Dave has @ the shop.

a bunch of the new gas guns i have seen are running hot, i dont know if its for overseas sales or what..... have also seen that they are breaking at a alarming rate, i will NOT carry them just for that reason.... duster gas, i dont know. just my opinion

Yeah, for the effort of this search, I'd just go for one of the tri-shots. If you want to try one, I can bring mine on Saturday.

I'm gonna go with a de tri shot cause after looking at it, the reload is a pain and u only get 30 shots before your out. And the duster gas is said to cause problems in a green gas gun.

It's actually supposedly more stable than green gas, but it's still more expensive than your alternatives, like propane.

Post by shadowhawk on Aug 1, 2012 17:56:46 GMT -5
im still gonna goo with the tri shot cause apparently if you duster gas to lower the fps, the result is that it doesnt have enough power to fire the gun and causes jams
