Sat afternoon battle
12 June 2010
Temple air soft field
Cost 20.00
Type battle. Skirmish
Time line
15:00 field opens
16:00 safety briefing
17:00 first battle
20:30 break
21:00 night game in town.
we will use the trench town and hedgerow area
All players must have water, dead flags, and flashlight. (all can be purchased on the field)

When you say must have a flashlight, is that a weapon mounted flashlight or a standard flashlight?
Just noticed on my calendar that it's going to be a New Moon on Saturday. Prolly be dark as crap that night!

any flashlight will do but you must be able to use it to make your way out of a area in a emergency, no 1/2 lum little blue light that you cant see 2 feet with. also i am putting more lights up at the corners of town. by the way check this out. www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3565518some of the guys had this out at the field last weekend and they worked great for what they are. |

no 1/2 lum little blue light that you cant see 2 feet with. That certainly doesn't describe my light. for as small as it is, it's a blinding son of a bitch! My LT would post me at the door during a search so everyone else could see inside the room and then make their way back to me. |

RE EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR AND OVER ABUNDANCE OF SEXUALLY SLANTED INNUENDO....
I just have to say and on the record ..........
In all seriousness, despite that fact that everyone who posted that they'll be there with X amount of people just lamed out and decided they had better things to do without even the courtesy of a pone call, the 4 of us who DID show up like we said we would had a pretty good time shooting the breeze blasting odd targets and old soda cans and just having some riveting adult oriented conversation.
There's some really neat new features going up on the filed and I was privy to some of the future plans that will be put up in some really crazy and intimidating locations. Dave has some pretty grand plans for this field. Providing we all continue to support him and SHOW UP when we say we will, this field WILL become the premier airsoft location in the Central Texas Hill Country, and quite possibly in ALL of Texas.
Ok, off my soapbox. Had a good time last night and I don't regret the semi-long drive at all.

We have always supported Dave's field, and will always continue too. My priorties are not that of airsoft, and deserves no explanation to where they are. |

look its a hobby and for fun.
not many showed up and life happens.
if i open the field and no one shows up i guess its on me. I'm not going to get mad about it. but if someone swears that they are going to show up and something happens, please call me. we are probably waiting for you at the field. one group of (6) people called me (twice), sent me texts saying they will be there, and never showed.
that in my book is rude. but again its a hobby and we are there to have fun.
