100+ airsoft games weekends claimed
650+ services preformed, lets say 2 per day = 325
108+ drill weekends in the reserves (major)
36+ weekends on annual drills

soooo
that's
569 weekends in the last 9 years.......
of only 468 and trust me im giving him a LOT of leeway, not counting schools / deployments / his illness etc.. that he also claims.... and is not counted

If I may bump in here.. So far I see this as a problem between one guy and Dave.. I do not like how everyone keeps throwing the name TASO into this.. As TASO involves all of San Antonio , Austin, and Houston... I can tell you that TASO does not have only one representative.. And I can assure you that we are trying our best to resolve the issue.. However, for the time being.. I do ask that you guys please respect our community as we have a lot of stand up guys in it.. Dave, we spoke at Aftermath.. And I told you the same thing.. I don't like you making an entire airsoft community of stand up players look bad.. I have tried to be as nice as I can to everyone.. I am here for the love of the sport and my community.. Last thing I need is for someone to attack us after I have tried to hard to rebuild... So please, continue with what you need to do.. silverwolf my apologies if i am coming off too harsh, i have bent over backwards the last 3 years trying to work with TASO via Austin wolv and now grey wolf. the community / field / and myself have been slammed bad from TASO and attacked over and over again and up till now i have let it slide. the last straw was when my insurance co called me and told me that a mr schnoor had out of the blue sent him and the underwriter a rambling letter in TASOs name basically requesting that they cut me off due to his concerns. that was done in TASOs name, when we sat down and talked i didn't know this, i thought i was just up against Austin wolf and Mr whitted who had filed false claims against the field that i am taking care of. i did NOT know about Mr Schnoors letter until Monday. he is the taso director, or at least is passing himself off as one. if TASO wants any healthy relationship with this community than it has to look into what is going on and in my opinion join with us to expose the issues.... or not. i have no issues with the Houston community nor does anyone that uses the field. like it or not he is the face of TASO and your rep for now and is using that power to fire off letters that are going to raise insurance rates for all the fields in Texas. you are a stand up guy in my opinion and i meant it when i ask what it would take to get a partnership going, but that will never happen as long as i am being attacked by the TASO leadership.

you and your groop did a great job at the field and i would say you are welcome along with nearly any houston players to come to any op or game here. i have not in my opinion had any issues with any player from houston.

I will have to correct you Dave.. Greywolf is not our TASO rep.. Bullet is.. And AustinWolv is not involved with TASO at all.. I have let the TASO rep of our area know about the issue and he will work with the Staff to find a way to resolve this.. In the mean time, I do ask that you please refrain from attacking the entire community.. I have seen people talk about you and your field.. Not your community.. I would appreciate it if you did the same.. I don't want to get involved into all of this, but please, if you have issues with one member or two members.. Talk about those members, not the entire community... I will try to get our TASO rep to contact you about all of this...

just to let you know what im talking about here is a screen shot from his forum......

it states that he is the TASO DIRECTOR
not central texas, not taso member, the director.

from that i understand thats how he has represented himself with the insurance agencies too.

if it is not true than please clear that up for us. and again not mad at you and i am waiting tor your area rep to contact me. if we could this would really be a good chance to fix problems and misunderstandings and build a bridge between the 2 comunities.

i see "cenTEX" director as in "central Texas"
Houston was always considered East Texas or possibly South Texas, but never Central Texas.

So maybe he's just claiming to be the central texas go-to guy.

Geddon is correct.. Greywolf is the TASO rep for the Central Texas side.. Bullet is the rep for our South-East side (Houston).. I have let both the staff members and the TASO rep know about the issue.. None of them were aware of it... Our staff admin doesn't want anything leaking into our site (We have had issues with another community before and would rather avoid geting involved).. And our TASO rep will look more into the issue..

Silverwolve - Thanks for postin up further information on this. I know the CTAF players have been keeping track of this. We all protect our filed, it is the only Place to play within an hour. Especially on a Active duty soldiers pay. It seems you have the most calm leveled minded person that has been posted from the " other side". It seems like this hobby is already divide amongst itself already.

I second Poo's comments. It is great to finally get something good out of this and see some turn around. A lot of us down here, and I'm sure this reflects everywhere, have significant time and money invested in the hobby but don't have the capacity to make long trips on weekend or pay for expensive ops. If Kookaburra were to go down, a lot of the community would vanish with it and that's something none of us want.

Thank you silverwolve and know that we have no ill will toward TASO as an organization. We only want to go on the return offensive for those people trying to take the field away from us, as I'm sure anyone in any community would do for their home field.

I hope we can all see each other around for a long time to come.

Silverwolve and I talk a lot, and I'm personally trying to build a bridge into the Houston Taso community. I support Dave's field and want to see this all get resolved soon. This type of drama is bad for business

If what dave has found is the truth and Greywolf is a fake, i'm sure TASO will take appropriate steps all by themselves. There wont be any need for a lynching mob or anything like that.

For the most part, i think we can safely say that Greywolf is the enemy party in this and NOT the TASO players. Those players are just like you guys. Loyal to the places they play and some of them not even aware of the drama or who the other parties even are.

Lets make SURE we don't go on an Anti Taso crusade as I can personally tell you, the PLAYERS aren't the issue.

Some of them? yeah they're not so good. But bad apples exist in every community. Lets punish the ones at fault and not lump everyone into the same category.

This isn't a Temple Airsoft vs TASO issue, this is a Temple Airsoft vs GREYWOLF (and his accomplices) issue.

Everyone get what i'm trying to say?

Don't let this issue drive a wedge between PLAYERS and the greater community. Don't let this disrupt the flow of events and the sportsmanship at games.

bottom line, this is not an issue meant to polarize the community, not from our end. This is a good time to take the moral high road.

I'm with Poo and Bacon, Temple is really the only place I can go to within driving distance that I fill is worth it. I hope TXpaintball can fix some of their issue as well but until then Temple field is all I have. With luck bridges and new friendships formed from the aftermath of this might help bring up a nice field closer to the Austin Community just for Airsoft...well I can hope anyways.
