So here is my idea... I want it to come to fruition within the next 2 months....This is still in it's...planning stages. (Along with the name)
November 23, 2010 - After nearly 11 years of negotiations, politics and billions of dollars, the Universal Oil Corporation (UOC) got the green light to break ground at Laayoune, Western Sahara, Africa for their Trans-Atlantic Oil Pipeline.
November 30 - Mapping crews are sent in to do preliminary geographical scans of the area to get up to date views of the terrain and any obstacles the pipeline may encounter in the future.
December 7 - The mercenary group The Grim Reapers use a coastal smuggling route between Morocco and Sierra Leone for their illegal activities, arrive at Laayoune after leaving Morocco and start raiding the village and the small UOC outpost. At the end of the day The Grim Reapers killed 4 villagers, took 5 as slaves for the Sierra Leone diamond smuggling operation and killed all 30 UOC staff members.
December 15 - The UOC receives news that their outpost has been destroyed and that everyone working there has been killed. The UOC sends more staff and send extra security, only to be killed and/or enslaved a few days later.
December 26 - The Grim Reapers set up an outpost 20 miles to the east overlooking Laayoune, there they gain more mercenaries over a period of time and form an extra group called...The Apocalypse. They make trips to the village of Laayoune frequently to torment the villagers and destroy any progress made by the UOC.
January 3, 2011 - UOC retaliates by enlisting the help of African PMC's, they make their way to town and eventually get paid off by an unknown amount of blood diamonds supplied by the Sierra Leone operations.
January 25 - UOC asks once again to neighboring nations for help, but no one wanted anything to do with the events taking place in Laayoune. NATO forces step in to protect their interests in the Trans-Atlantic Oil Pipeline.
February 10 - NATO forces arrive and disperse the Mercs and continue to do so for the few days. Then there is no contact until...
May 21, 2011 - Now.
Laayoune villagers feel like they can begin to live a safe, secure life since the arrival of the NATO forces. They begin to rebuild and rejoice, the pipeline will bring extra jobs and the income will most definitely bring a needed boost to the village. The CEO of UOC arrives to Laayoune to kick off the Pipeline Opening Ceremony. Since there has been no attack for the past couple of months, the bulk of the NATO forces were stationed 10 miles away while a small fireteam was left in the village to aid in security for the CEO.
A few miles away the Mercenaries have been gathering their numbers for an attack, preparing themselves for and All or Nothing war.
