Greetings!
I'm not from the CT community, but I do know that a high percentage of the community members here are current or former military, so I'm going to ask this here.
I'm looking to buy an M88 PASGT helmet in size large. Does anyone here have one they are interested in parting with for a decent price? The ones in the local surplus stores are far too expensive.
Before anybody asks, I'm only interested in the real thing. Not one of the replicas that you see on Ebay.
if you can help out, PM this account and/or reply to this post Thanks.

Sup bro. Where u play at??
Well, unless ur close enough to buy one at the field store, or a good army surplus store, u'll be hard pressed to find the real deal my friend. Even the old designs were considered a sentitive item: soldier loses it, he/she pays big army several hundred dollars... at least.

...hence the price tag u've seen at surplus stores already: its made of kevlar, man. honestly, coming from experience, the awesomeness fades real fast after 10 minutes wearing it. Its big, bulky, heavy, uncomfortable, strains ur neck meat, and the padding hardly helps sooo...gives replicas a chance in case u don't get lucky

LT- Eh. They are not that bad. I have never worn a PASGT in the field, but have worn heavier helmets before. Uncomfortable Yes. As bad as all that? Naah. The biggest problems with most of the replicas out there is that the issue covers do not fit them well.
I see them on Ebay as well. But large sizes are hard to come by and they usually get bid up to a high price quite quickly.
OC-6 How much for an M88 in a larger size? I wear a size 7 1/2 US and 70 metric.
