please read, i need help, please

last Monday a tornado touched down near the field and tor up 2 barns. it continued to the field and on to gun club road.....

OK i really don't know how to start other than give everyone a damage assessment by as if you were starting at the crab shack and walking the field so here it is.



the crab shack is a total loss. its in the form of a big U and has no roof.


the artillery position is missing 1/2 of the wall and the command building is ....... missing, its gone. parts can be found near the far side of the trench, just parts of it.

the small town is missing 2 buildings, some plywood is there but not much.

the new town where there were 8 boxes now has 4. mostly damaged.

its missing 9 buildings. the center of the town is OK with about 12 buildings standing. like it was about 3 months ago. more of less.

the good news, field is still playable and we have the new area to play in with the new trench. the town survived as

the town will be rebuilt with steel buildings on the outskirts of it.
about 85% of the field is fine with the log forts all surviving.

here is the challenge that i need to turn this into a good thing.
on the 8th i am canceling the mini op and offering a work / play day. i have plenty of clean up, reinforcing, sand bag filling to do.
also i need some $$$ to fix the problems.

i now have a FULLY stocked shop with nearly everything you could ever need from BBs, uniforms, web gear, and guns and guns and guns.

prior to ordering from other vendors please see if i have it in stock or if i can get is. most of the time i can get it cheaper if you want to pick it up at the field.

the money will be going back into the field to make it even better.
so please let me know who can make it on the 8th.

I will be there. Should we show up at the same time as the OP schedule had? And how much will the field fee be if its a work/play day?

I should have at least one other TAMASO member coming along with me as well.

field will be open at 0900.
field fee is free if you help durring the first 1/2 of the day.
if tamaso wants to donate you can do so by purchasing a uniform.
i now have full flectarn uniforms on hand from med to XL 30.00 a set.

Thats a misfortune that it happened. I did plan on having 2 other soldiers come out with me, I doubt the will. They don't like to work on off time, I will try to have at least one other with me. How long is the work part till??

since many people want to play a full day at the field and its still playable this is what i have decided.....

the game is back on for the 8th, i say again the game is back on for the 8th. i will push for the areas to be cleaned up this week and everything should be safe sat, so tell your people to come ready to play on the 8th.
