Well I'm just going to say it took 180 1st cav folks to replace 60 of us 3d ACR troopers in Iraq. Which in most minds says that it takes 3 of them to do one of our jobs. I honestly don't care though, both cav units are awesome at leveling cities and that's all that matters

Or it took 180 of us to unF**K what y'all did.

Or it took 180 of us to unF**K what y'all did. LMAO!!! Lets put it another way as well...as far as 19 series vs 11B, tankers are trained in both mounted and dismounted. Thus we can do our job AND theirs...double duece. 'Course, more 11 bang-bangs score on the extended APFT scale ;D, can qualify sharp shooter or above, and ruck more foot marches than us fatty tankers, i suppose ...UNLESS ur up against a super hooah tanker OFFICER! ...don't hate, don't hate !

The only reason "tankers" are trained in dismount is due to the fact that your tanks were taken away all deployment.

I give up, I'm clearly outnumbered. Besides I hated 3d ACR until we returned and refitted, now its worth defending. But I'd still love to settle it in the field

Yeah we had to mow from the 1st Cav division headquarters down to TJ Mills with only 3 lawn mowers. SMA could have cared less.

If the sky is blue because God loves the infantry, what happens when it's gray? Hoo-Yah! it means God is mad at tankers for blowing holes thru enemies' souls with a SABOT round, leaving nothing for Him to pass judgement on.......makes Satan mad too ;D

ummmmm no the only reason you tread heads, dirt darts, and crunchies can even rais your head to see what color the sky is is due to the fact that ADA has cleard the sky for you.... so there i can play too

Nice try Dave, ADA is a young infant when it comes to the history of military forces. The INFANTRY however is as old as they come, as long as a man has held a weapon there has been the INFANTRY. We (INFANTRY) have looked to a clear blue sky and enjoyed it's purity long before the ADA or others even came into being. All those wing nuts, rotor heads and yes Dave ADA look to the blue sky and want to be there or destroy those who are there. The blue sky was pure for the longest time just like the INFANTRY till others wanted to fill it with other things (aircraft, missiles, other MOS's) and cloud it up and degrade it's purity. Claim all you want Dave throw all the names you want the INFANTRY is the mother of all, the start the beginning. There is the INFANTRY and then there are those who support them. Your either one or the other, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you the other Dave. Some of us choose to play in the game and step up to the plate and swing the bat, others are content being the bat boy.

nice one, but wrong.... prior to being ADA we were coast artillery and some of the first units in the army. ADA came from the artillery via coastal artillery to automatic antiaircraft artillery (AAA) to anti aircraft artillery (ADA, to air attack artillery. so we have a looooong history and do many jobs i can do this all day, LOL
