The next installment in the Black Saturday Series:
The aftermath of OP Verraterei....
With the set backs in Berlin, the Soviets must act quickly to carry out their plan. The NATO forces were able to recover the terrorist leader and “persuaded” him to betray the men who had hired them. Now NATO knows the Russians were behind the attack, and relations have become strained as Soviet Bloc forces and NATO forces standoff. The Soviets must move quickly if they hope to surprise their enemies. With time against them and NATO forces having tightened security on their borders, Soviet forces must keep the Turkish forces guarding the port of Istanbul distracted long enough to sneak a ship through the Bosphorus. A ship with the cargo that is the linchpin to the entire Russian offensive.
When: April 10th
Where: Kookaburra Airsoft Field, Temple, Texas
Cost: $25 to prepay. $35 at the gate.
Pre-pay deadline is April 3rd.

Uniform Requirments:
NATO forces - All green (woodland, Flecktarn, Marpat, Tiger Stripe, OD)
Russian Forces - All Tan (DCU, ACU, Multicam, etc)
Rules:
TASO ROE will be followed.
Biodegradable and dark colored (green, black, brown) bbs only.
All replicas must follow TASO standards and will be tested at the field by the event coordinators.
All players must wear full sealing eye protection that is rated to ANZI Z87.1+
There must not be any gaps in-between the eye protection and the face larger than 6mm. This will be checked at the field.
It is also recommended that all players wear boots or other protected footwear to avoid injuries to the foot or ankle.
Medic Rules: Several players will be designated as medics for each team. (Depending on how many players attend there should be one medic per ten people) when a player is hit the player puts a dead rag on his/her head or waves it around and calls for a medic. Every player must have a parachute chord or similar rope tied to their person with three knots in it. The medic will come by and untie one knot to bring the player back into play. When a player runs out of knots, they must respawn. Medics will be given a white medic strap to tell them apart from other players.
Grenade rules: Tornado grenades now allowed to be used in any part of the field. Non-active grenades can only be used in enclosed buildings or bunkers. When grenade lands in room or bunker, all occupants are automatically out. Grenades can only be thrown through windows or door (not over the roof). Grenades must be thrown underhanded. Walls and obstacles that are not completely enclosed do not count as buildings or bunkers.
Players must wear proper footwear on the field. Boots are preferred. Flip-flops and sandals will not be allowed.
Bring plenty of Water to this event. There will be bottled water for sale at the field but you should bring your own as well as hydration for on the field (hydration bladder, canteen, etc). It will most likely be very hot on the field.

Kapowwe will have a raffle at this event.
Any player that registers will be automatically entered in the raffle.
Schedule of days events:
8:30am --- Gates Open
9:00am --- Registration table opens
9:30am --- Chrono Station opens
10:00am-- Safety Briefing for all players
10:30am-- Teams walk to their starting position and begin gameplay.
~3 or 4pm- Gameplay ends, all players return to parking lot for AAR and raffle.
*Squads will coordinate lunch with their CO and go in shifts to keep gameplay going.
A hot dog dinner will be available to anyone who would like to eat on the field. The dinner will be $5 for two hotdogs, chips and a drink.
More information will come as it becomes available.
Pre-pay and registration opens March 4th. Closes April 3rd (or if all 100 players have been reached early)
