I was thinking if dave would use like 2-3 horse trailers for landing craft, some plywood to make tanktraps, and use maybe some plywood or dirt to build bunkers at the top of a small hill or something. You could add a flag that must be taken like we did at Reforger and maybe some wire for looks. Just think of the missions that could be held there.  |

And if you get shot just "Act" dead until the rest of your comrades are safe, taken the bunkers, or are ready for a second wave. The 1ID could be in one of the trailers and the 50 British would be the ones in the boats. And dave and another person could just back the trucks up to a certain point, open the doors (lower the ramp) and let the storming of the beach (hill) be left to the infantry ( and if Dave wants to use the jeep). And so the germans arent (over powered) they can have about 500-1000 bbs. There would be one German unit holding omaha though, the rest would be dealing with other issues. And you could make this small mission about 30-50 mins long depending if the hill is taken early or later, or all allies are dead.

But im fine with putting a dead rag or my putting hand in the air and walking calmly to the trailer for the next wave of action packed omaha carnage.

it seems that i always have to say this,
when hit a player will sound off with HIT
drop his gun put his hand in the air...
pulls dead rag out after presenting himself,,,,
and walks away from the fighting to the next respawn point....
that was a issue at red tide, and now at reforger (with some of the same players).
you never set in the line of fire, if i catch you doing that it proves to me that you are not well versed in the rules and should not be on the field.
PS dead rags must now be used on the firld as of this next weekend.

yes making the dead rag mandatory is a great thing to do, i cant tell you how many times i got shot at reforger when walking to a respawn point. I only noticed one guy on the russian side that would stand in the way of fire on purpose, which aggravated the crap out of me.

that happens all the time, even with dead rags. at RDX i was shot in the face at under 15 ft with a pistol even with a dead rag.
look dead rags are only a tool, if people don't use them or others don't see them then don't blame the field (any field), if there are close engagements and the OCs fix it then again its a player problem not a field problem.... ID the players help the field staff and let the staff take care of it, then don't blame the field blame the players and have the community take care of it.

Eh, some people just dont think before they shoot or they are just jerks. I thought the omaha beach would be a great idea for the Battlefield 1944 OP. If not, there is still market garden |
