Hey guys, I am looking for a good aeg DMR. My budget is around $400-450 and was wondering if anyone could reccomend something.
Penrod says that I shouldn't get the G&G GR25, but I've heard good things about it.

if you have that much to spend i i would go for the ....
CA M-14 EBR
or the
CA SVD semi auto
or the
blackwater M-16 DMR (just out)

If you don't want a headache with upgrade parts I would stay away from the CA SVD, Echo 1 er25k, I don't know if the Gr25 has a specific parts either.
Are you looking for one that is already Pre-built or do you want to build it from the ground up. Also how soon would you be getting it; for parts that you have to order.
In reality you could make anything a "DMR" per-say, it's what you put into it and how you use it that makes it a DMR. If you do want a 7.62 replica. Then the gr25 is good platform, but be wary of what I mentioned. Also if you are looking into a Semi auto AEG type DMR then have you looked into a Realsword or a A To Z SVD?
What main platform are you looking into? Don't see alot of the g36/39 series enough.
Also note that some rules have specific rule sets with DMR's ie; Engangment distance and FPS, also the Look like a duck rule, mag restrictions, semi auto only
I've pretty much run nothing but DMR's and such.
Things to look for:
Long barrel type replica and rails for optics are a basic given.
Brand is up to you, also I would leave some room for basic drop in upgrades as needed ( TBB, Bucking)

the blackwater DMR is by far the best bang for your buck in my opinion.
it has everything ready to go and was hand fitted and checked out prior to being sold.
its a new extreme AEG lind on the market.

i can price match and you can pick it up at the store and use my known distance range to sight it in. it can go to 250 ft (the range). i can also help you test different optics and other gear wile at my place at no cost.

i can do 450.00 WITH shipping / sighting / etc.. he other place has a older price and is out of stock.
no scope, but you can try the 10 or so scopes i have ans find the best for you.
most people overdo the optics and you can test the ones that i have.
i can also give you some pointers.
