I know this is kind of a stupid question but what is the field like? From what i've seen and heard there's an area full of trenches, a small town like area, and of course the store. Is there any other area, how big are the areas, what are most of the areas good for (weapon wise), and anything else about the field.

Number 1: Don't ever call our town small.
Number 2: It's something that has to be seen for yourself.
Each area has opportunities for every kind off weapon. The town has congested areas that work best for short and mid range as well as plenty of places to set up a long range gun. The trenches are much the same but with a huge winding series of connected paths that can be great for stealth mixed with plenty of ways to fight overland. The hedgerows are awesome for fast paced short and mid ranged combat.
No field plays to any one certain strength. It literally has everything.

73+ acres of field to run around on. Every type of field play can be used on the field, and influences are stronger in some areas than others. Like the middle of no where bunkers that have flag points; 2 guys can hold off an entire squad there. So it definitely something that you need to judge for yourself. But as Caliban stated, your SCAR is a good gun for the field regardless on the part
