again we will be playing the game of risk at the field
rules :
5 teams
20 flags
the goal is to have your teams flags the only ones flying around the field.
if your team takes the last flag of the opposing force that team switches sides to your team.
normal field fee
grill will be open.

<Flash> According to intelligence agents buried deep within the Kookaburra Command Structure (KCS), the fate of the world is again at Risk. Elements of the Hillcrest Iron are being mobilized for the conflict in order to ensure that global freedom for all will prevail. Two of our veteran squads are scrambled and ready for deployment, backed by a third squad with a mix of vets and new recruits. A fourth squad is being re-tasked and will hopefully be able to reinforce the three main elements by November 5th. Once again the men and women of the Hillcrest Iron look forward to doing battle with our old comrades as the fate of the civilized world hangs in the balance. I hope to see Neo, Poo, and all of the old faces and some of the new ones we haven't met yet out there on the 5th. So, Dave, as it looks right now, I can fill at least 3 of those teams with 3 of my squads: Blue, Black, and White, with the possiblity of one more, depending on people's schedules, the closer we get to the date. I will let you know though. Can't wait!!  |

I recommend anyone who has never played and who has played there to attend one of these risk games while the Hillcrest team is out there. Very outstanding players, both new and well known to the game. Very game friendly also, just all around good time to be around. Sorry I can't be there to shoot at you guys next time. Till next year. Have a safe trip down to Temple.

True enough, we are bound to have an epic encounter  I still remember one of the first games we had, where you came around a hedgerow and I dropped to the ground on my back for some crazy reason and we both shot. I missed, but because my face was the only thing sticking up, I took several to the face, which caused the blood to flow like water I wear a mask now I think we may have been on the same team, maybe once? You and Paul were with us, I think, but I could be wrong. Any way it turns out though, will be a good time! I'm anxious to see what Dave has done to the field since we were out last time. |

I don't know I've never played airsoft risk but the board game risk I allways ended up getting mad and throwing the game accross the room.

Update: Hillcrest has another 2 squads incoming for a total of 30, with another 2 people strictly in a supply side logistical support role. If we can't win with our tactics and stunning good looks, we will just overwhelm the opposing force with numbers. We will pile our dead up around us and fight on, the bodies of our dead comrades giving us shelter. The die is cast, the storm is coming, and there is nowhere to run. Global domination by the Black Wave of Hillcrest is inevitable. Prepare to be assimilated. Not even Neo and his trusty KWA can save you now |
